Now just looking at above title, I can assure which word has got the most of your attention & which word is it that represents your need! And through this blog I am trying to explain how healthy you can be by choosing the correct diet option! Sounds simple, isn’t it?
Well, we all know how rapidly the globalisation overture and progressed in past couple of decades. Be it any field – Medical, Architecture, Information Technology and what not! Evidently this advancements got its pros and cons too. But thankfully the awareness to sustain these advancements present themselves to us! One of the awareness we are most concern about is Good Health!
Being honest here, how many of you can tell me that they are actually concerned about their health and not factually. How many of you hit gym for their own benefit but not to give donation to gym through annual subscription? How many of you sincerely follow their yoga and fitness routine frequently? How many of you choose to stay on healthy diet? I don’t need to gain any figure here as the answers to these questions are pretty transparent!
But please do understand that just workout is never ever essential. There are many other aspects one need to learn in order to stay fit and healthy! We all know our human body cannot sustain without food and water! So isn’t it the duty of human to understand what to eat and what not to?
I can bet that majority of people believe that consuming healthy food means to gain sufficient amount of vitamins & proteins. True that but how many of you are aware about the correct source of these vitamins and proteins?
Awareness is key solution to anything!
It is commonly said and blindly believed that non-vegetarians are more healthy as they get good amount of nutrients and proteins from animal based food. Apparently, this is just a MYTH! Surprised? Well it’s not my words here but that of the Medical Science.
Few days prior talking to a friend of mine about favourite McDonalds chicken burger, my friend who himself used to be a hard core non-vegetarian, suggested me to watch a Netflix based documentary named – “The Game Changers” which is made on study of optimal diet for human performance and health.
This documentary not just turned my friend to be a vegetarian but also evolved my mentality about animal based product like meat,chicken or egg. This documentary explain the pure comparison between animal based and plant based proteins by sharing experience of athletes, sports & adventurous personalities by brining a light to their plant based diet and how it helped to boost their performance. With strong evidence, they improved their performance highly and they cannot be more healthy!
The important point I want to explain from this documentary is about Endothelium Function ( endothelium is lining of blood vessels which regulates the blood flow throughout our body). It is said that consuming animal based food causes these endothelium to impaired (weakened) which affects the blood circulation leading to heart problems whereas consuming plant based food enhances the circulation more giving humans good amount of stamina to perform.
Not just this but as per experiment conducted on small of group of footballers shows that consuming animal based food releases fats in our blood whereas plant based protein doesn’t release any sort of fats in blood. In below image, it shows blood test result of same person. One result is of blood after consuming the chicken burrito and one after consuming bean burrito. Precisely we can see the fats present in blood after having delicious chicken burrito.
Truly no one can say that how much Science have to present to us!
Sadly after consuming animal based products we landed up in terrible situation of COVID 19. It’s more sad to say people lack awareness about this horrible outbreak. COVID 19 (coronavirus disease 2019) is a disease which spreads from animals to humans. It was originated in December 2019 in Wuhan (city in China) through a seafood based market where animals like rabbits, bats, snakes are traded illegally.
But thankfully after this pandemic people are giving thought and are actually eliminating consumption of animal based food by turning into Vegan or Vegetarian!
Transforming into a vegan is not at all spontaneous instead it is a process. Generally, people first turn into vegetarian then progress later to be a vegan. Still many of us believe and says that vegan food has limited options, not fulfilling or tasteless. Please go out and make an effort to search more about vegan food, to your surprise good amount of vegan food option are available out there which is beyond your imagination.
I request you all to watch that documentary and spread awareness about this as much as you can and staying healthy is just matter of wisely choosing your source of nutrients so as to avoid any other pandemic in future.
